A very powerful way to increase brand awareness is to use consistent visual and verbal branding. I know I sound like a broken record here but it's probably the most important thing you can do to increase brand awareness. You must use consistent logo, colors, fonts, imagery, photography, style and thumbnails because by using consistent visual and verbal branding people are going to be able to recognize you quickly. They will recognize you and speak about you to others.

 

The three most important things in branding are to be recognized, remembered and revered. So, you must be recognized before you can be remembered and if you are remembered then you are on your way to being revered which is the goal of any brand. If you have ever thought or said to yourself if only, I could just get the word out there, if more people knew what I did and if I could help them back, it would be so exciting to work with others. If you have ever said that you need to increase your brand awareness, you can get that exactly.

Increasing your brand awareness is a little counterintuitive because it's harder to get clarity on building a bigger brand.

 

Frankly other people aren't going to know about your brand if you don't know about your Brand first. If you don't know what you stand for and how to communicate or how you help people and showing as visible to the world, it isn't really going to help you in brand building. So, be sure that you're spending time on the front end or periodically revisit what your brand stands for.

 

Another way is to attract attention intentionally. I have always marveled at the fact that whenever I'm launching a course, I like doing a free event by inviting people. I make a big deal in the marketplace about whatever I'm up to. It’s not just for that product I'm inviting people, it's for all my other courses. By doing this, I'm gathering the attraction of attention. It is so powerful and even if you don't have anything planned right now, it is one of the best ways to increase your awareness.

 

There are many types of event launches and even if the actual launch doesn't go as well as you wish and dream, the residual effect of a launch is real. So, even if the thing that you're promoting is kind of the Trojan Horse and you are breaking even on the event that you're hosting, the attention is going to create incredible awareness. As a result of your clarity, it is going to create more sales.

 

It is also incredibly effective to be positioned as an authority to somebody else's audience. Being a trusted advisor makes others pay attention which increases awareness as opposed to just showing up unannounced in somebody else’s audience.

 

Facebook groups are much more effective if you partner with the actual owner of a Facebook group or the owner of a podcast or some other owner of an audience. Somewhere deposition as an authority to the Audience of different owners helps to increase your brand awareness. If we continue to show up and continue to be visible, even if you're not seeing results over time, chances are that your brand awareness increases.
